Incoming bids are money walking to your door — always weigh the offer against his estimated value before touching a button; lowball it, haggle or decline · An outgoing deal marked "terms unfinished" wants you back at the table today, not tomorrow · You can pull out of a deal, but a cooling-off period follows before you can court him again — so think first.
"Waiting on the player" is the stretch where all you can do is withdraw — and where rivals love to pounce · Deals under "done" can't be cancelled; he will arrive next window, so budget his wages now · Let an unfinished contract talk slide past its deadline and the whole deal quietly dies, agreed fee and all.
